Hi Jessi, On my way to work this morning I thought of you, and all the other Chrome Angels, and wanted to send a Merry Christmas your way. This time last year was extremely rough for me and my kids and I want to Thank You again for all that you guys did. You made a year that seemed like it would be the worst Christmas and turned into one of the most beautiful ones for us. I can never thank you enough. You and the other ladies are truly angels on earth, The kids are doing well and I am feeling better than ever. I hope you have a great Christmas and a blessed New Year.
Sincerely, Jessica from Daytona Beach

Rebecca, I have thought of you often and wondered how you and your wonderful organization is doing. Me and my kids often look at the pictures taken that day you all came and brought us Christmas. I don't think you ever knew all that you did that day and the bills you helped us with really meant to us but it was truly a God send! It takes special kind of people to do what you all do and you made such a difference in our lives and I am sure many others as well.

Since then I am still fighting the fight. I have been lucky that through God and the treatment provided I am still alive. The Cancer metastisized to my brain and I have had 20 rounds of radiation therapy and 2 stereotactic laser brain surgeries. I am now on a chemo drug called Tykerb that I take every day for as long as my body can handle. It will hopefully help me to keep the Cancer in my brain from growing again.
I hope you are doing well and life is treating you right. You deserve it. Thank you for all tthat you do, have done and I am sure will continue doing for women and families dealing and fighting Breast Cancer. You give light when there is so much darkness.
With much love - Sharon R. - stage 4 Breast Cancer, Ocala, FL

We cannot wait til the weather warms up so we can go for a bike ride! I have attached a few pictures from Christmas, sorry they are alittle blurry but you can see how much they enjoyed eveyrthing :) Lots of love and thank you's to you all!!! xoxo Jessica from Volusia County

Again - I want to thank you so much for all the help your organization has given my family. When I began this journey battling Cancer, I didn't know how I was going to possibly get through. Not just the battle but all the day to day things like bills and raising 4 kids while being sick. The Chrome Angels have made me feel like I wasn't so alone and that there were people out there that cared. God bless you all because you are all such wonderful beautiful people. With great love, Leanne

The Fraternal Oriole's Nest 278 of Orlando wanted to thank you for all you did for Marlene R. and her fight with Breast Cancer. She had so many worries as many others do with this disease and with the Orioles Bike Run & Chrome Angels Support we were able to help financially support her during this time. She is doing good and is making a Great come back. She will be participating in future benefit poker runs to help other fellow bikers. Sincerely, Denise R.

A nice card thanking us for our kindness and generosity with a special personal note received 2/13/09:

Just a short note to thank the Chrome Angels for all you do. Unless someone is in our shoes most of the time they have no clue of what we go through. You paid my mortgage and electric and that took a big weight off my shoulder. This is sure to be a long road for me but you guys made it a lot more bearable. Thank you. Terrie B.

Note: Terrie and her mother (who is also battling cancer) went to the VFW in Fruitland Park and collected $100 to donate back to the Chrome Angels to help other women.

A nice thank you card with the following personal note inside received 2/10/09:

May you be blessed by the Lord with the same warmth and joy you give. Thank you so much. Darlene F.

My name is Chris...and I participated in Sundays ride and would like to thank you for an awesome job!! I am currently living in Ocala, and visit Orlando area quite often and it was an honor to be a part of something so worthy. A very close and dear friend of mine was a survivor at the time I pre-registered for your cause, but I am saddened to say she passed before the ride actually happened. So in her honor as well as so many others I was most gracious to hear of your organization and participate in giving back. Again I thank you and all of those who took part in making it a wonderful success. Thank you Chris D.

Chrome Angels of Central Florida, Thank you so much for Chrome Angels of Central Florida’s continued support to the 2008 Women Playing for T.I.M.E. event.  Your involvement signals your support for our mission to partner with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and defeat cancer as it affects women.  These funds are essential as we address the ongoing fight with cancer.  In order to maintain the leading edge in technology and to continue research for tomorrow, it requires tremendous resources and would not be possible without the support of individuals such as you.  Again, thank you so much for your support and caring.  Sincerely, Cheryl C., Director Event Planning & Major Gifts and Lynda C., Events Manager Women Playing for T.I.M.E.

A Note From C.O.B.B....

Monday, May 21, 2007 - From all of us at Chapter One of the C.O.B.B. Society, a very BIG and SPECIAL Thank You for your part in making the "Do You See Me Now Ride and Rally" possible.
With May being "Motorcycle Awareness Month", we felt compelled to try to do something to increase motorists awareness of bikers on the road. Waiting another year was not an option. We are pleased to report that organizations from Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina, Colorado and California heard of our run and on the same day held a "Do You See Me Now" rally in their state. California held theirs 3 hours earlier so they would be on the road at the same time!
Four Hundred Sixty One riders signed up with a number of motorcycles joining us at Old Town. A few less than expectations, but our statement was made. Wait till next year!
The family of our departed friend and brother Robin Burton-Jenkins (Jinx) extends their deepest appreciation.
Thank you one and all again. If we omitted anyone please forgive the unintentional error.

Newt Neuciler, President
Chapter One of the C.O.B.B. Society, Inc.

A Note From Sharon...

Monday, February 26, 2007 - I wanted to take a moment to thank you for being a part of my benefit ride - Sharon Thompson 2/25/07  (Kangas Sandbar). It was great to see you again, it's amazing how people are put into your life and you never know why or how they will play a part in it. It all started on the ride home from our Key West trip in 2005, and then again at Otters in Sanford sometime later. You are all wonderful women and what you do for other women is amazing. Myself and Dwayne (my husband) truly thank you for helping me with the fight. Breast Cancer really has made a lot of changes in our lives, not all are bad. With family and friends, things somehow seem a little less stressed.
Oh, and I was told to say it's me to Chris Alexa (sunshine), Dozer. Hope to see you all again, God Bless all of you.
Again, thanks to all who played a part.

Always
Sharon & Dwayne Thompson
