A
Note From C.O.B.B....
Monday, May 21, 2007 - From all of
us at Chapter One of the C.O.B.B. Society, a very BIG and SPECIAL Thank
You for your part in making the "Do You See Me Now Ride and Rally"
possible.
With May being "Motorcycle Awareness Month", we felt compelled
to try to do something to increase motorists awareness of bikers on the
road. Waiting another year was not an option. We are pleased to report
that organizations from Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina, Colorado and
California heard of our run and on the same day held a "Do You See
Me Now" rally in their state. California
held theirs 3 hours earlier so they would be on the road at the same time!
Four Hundred Sixty One riders signed up with a number of motorcycles joining
us at Old Town. A few less than expectations, but our statement was made. Wait
till next year!
The family of our departed friend and brother Robin Burton-Jenkins (Jinx) extends
their deepest appreciation.
Thank you one and all again. If we omitted anyone please forgive the unintentional
error.

A
Note From Sharon...
Monday, February 26, 2007 - I wanted
to take a moment to thank you for being a part of my benefit ride - Sharon Thompson
2/25/07 (Kangas
Sandbar). It was great to see you again, it's amazing how people are
put into your life and you never know why or how they will play a part
in it. It all started on the ride home from our Key West trip in 2005,
and then again at Otters in Sanford sometime later. You are all
wonderful women and what you do for other women is amazing. Myself and Dwayne
(my husband) truly thank you for helping me with the fight. Breast
Cancer really has made a lot of changes in our lives, not all are bad.
With family and friends, things somehow seem a little less stressed.
Oh, and I was told to say it's me to Chris Alexa (sunshine), Dozer. Hope
to see you all again, God Bless all of you.
Again, thanks to all who played a part.
Always
Sharon & Dwayne Thompson
