Bikers Raise Money for Breast Cancer Patients
Hundreds of bikers rolled into Orlando Sunday to raise
money for a good cause.
It was all part of the 5th annual Ribbons for Life
event.
The Chrome Angels of Central Florida, a women's motorcycle
club, organized the event to raise money for breast cancer patients.
Riders braved the chilly and windy weather to ride
from New Smyrna Beach and St. Cloud to Orlando.
Those that took part said it’s worth it since
you usually don't have to go far to find someone affected by the disease.
"We have a lot of people, as I said, touched by
breast cancer. You know either mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, so
you know we have a lot of people come in their cars and trucks just to
support the event because they know we do good things," said Jessi
Sills from the Chrome Angels of Central Florida.
The ride was expected to raise well over $10,000.

Old Cell
Phone Collection ...
Don't know what to do with that old cell phone? You
have probably heard of organizations that collect them for charities.
Well, the Chrome Angels are one of those organizations! The next event
you can bring in your old cell phones will be held this summer at our
annual Luau Ride. If you
can't bring it at that time, or would like to get it to us sooner,
please contact
us so that we can make arrangements to collect your old phones.
We are working with Shelter Alliance on this
program and will donate the proceeds to women and children charities
right here in Central Florida! Thank you for helping us with this wonderful
cause!
